How can you help?

You can help support Schindy's K-9 through your monetary donations, as well as being involved in many of our annual events to raise these funds. Follow our social media pages to be informed of when these events are happening and contact us if you would like to support in any way!

What do we do?

Schindy's K-9 advocacy & training thrives to raise funds to help support local K-9 units. We accomplish this through business and community support at events that raise money for these units. The funds are distributed to these units to help aid in the cost of office/K-9 training, and ensures that these resources are being used to their fullest potential! In 2020 we raised and distributed an $8000 check to the Newaygo County Sheriffs Office. We also have supplied funds to the Ottawa, Muskegon, & Kent county sheriffs offices. We appreciate all of your continued support.

What is Schindy's K-9?

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting K9s in law enforcement. Our mission is to raise funds and advocate for the benefits of K9 assistance.

K9s play a crucial role in detecting drugs and explosives, as well as locating missing persons thus enhancing community safety. They also foster stronger relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

We promote K9 care, training, and resources for handlers to strengthen these vital partnerships.
